James joined ISME in January 2026 to head up the Sales and Marketing teams. He brings over 20 years’ experience of supporting SMEs in Ireland across disciplines such as online recruitment, employer branding, HR Technology, and Psychometric testing. James more recently supported Irish businesses with compliance across various aspects of HR, Employment Law, and Health & Safety.

His early career in London was on the shopfloor with a Multiple Retailer where his passion for excellent customer service and the “Retail is Detail” mantra was honed. James is excited to join the team and wants to make sure all SMEs in Ireland leverage the various services ISME offers – especially all the upskilling and learning & development resources available. Whether business costs, employee challenges, digital/AI adoption, or needing to have representation to Government, he wants to make sure ISME continues to be the trusted voice for small/medium businesses in Ireland
