The Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment has published an update to the work safely protocols. The update reflects updated Public Health advice and knowledge. The update contains the inclusion of new symptoms associated with the Delta variant of COVID-19 and additional information on ventilation, and vaccinations.
The Protocol also contains links directing employers and employees to a range of resources where additional and more detailed information and guidance can be sourced. The Protocol is a general document applicable to all sectors. It sets out the minimum public health measures required in every place of work to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to facilitate the re-opening of workplaces following temporary closures and the ongoing safe operation of those workplaces.
