Léon is a solicitor, and a risk and compliance professional, having spent more than fifteen years’ operating at senior and executive level in multi-national organisations in a variety of sectors, latterly as Chief Compliance Officer at UDG Healthcare plc. He now leads Obséy, a Dublin based risk and compliance consulting business, which includes a specialist data governance practice. Léon has real-world experience of advising on data protection and managing privacy and compliance programmes, going back as far as the implementation of the original data protection directive in 1996.
