ISME has announced today that the Association will be bringing a series of Roadshows around the country during 2019. The National Roadshows will provide an opportunity for businesses to network and enjoy talks and discussions from a selection of speakers in their own locality. Admission to all of these events will be complimentary. The first event will take place on Thursday 31st January from 7.30am – 9.00am in the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley, Dublin.
Speaking in advance of the first Roadshow, ISME CEO Neil McDonnell said:
“The 2019 Roadshows will have a very ‘local’ theme. With a hard Brexit looming, it’s more important than ever for Irish businesses to network and plan for the challenges ahead. The events will provide an interactive space for local businesses to collaborate and share best practice, and get up-to-speed on current issues facing the SME sector.”
Speakers at next Thursday’s event include ISME CEO Neil McDonnell, ISME HR Advisor Mark O’Connor, Derek Dunne, Customs Compliance Manager, Quality Freight Group and Paul McMahon, Principal, McMahon Legal who will outline the implications for business of a hard or soft Brexit along with the threats and opportunities.
