Regarding your paragraph 5; while we accept this is your point of view, it is not one with which we concur. The failure to remove obstacles to the functioning of the legal market is noted yet again in the current Semester Report 1 by the EU Commission. Legal and insurance costs are noted to be on the rise. The Commission states that the ‘degree of ambition’ in the LSRA to increase competition and reduce legal costs ‘remains to be seen’ a sentiment with which ISME agrees.
