This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic digital marketing professional to support the ISME Chief Marketing Officer in the implementation of the marketing and business development strategy for the association. This role is instrumental in providing marketing and sales support across ISME services and other key projects and events. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed and committed individual.
About ISME
ISME, the Irish SME Association, is the only independent representative association for Small and Medium Enterprises and currently has in excess of 10,500 members nationwide. ISME is owned, funded and managed by SME owner-managers, representing the sector through its Members. Itis a not-for-profit membership organisation whose National Council is made up of elected owner-managers of SMEs from all over Ireland and from a variety of sectors.
We exist to support SME owner-managers by lobbying on their behalf, providing advice and information, and offering discounts on products and services through our ADVANTAGE – Affinity programme. We provide learning and development programmes with ISME Skillnet and business development and promotional opportunities through the ISME website, publications, digital channels and networking at events.
The focus of this role is to drive sales through digital marketing and sales support.
Areas to cover:
- Work collaboratively across marketing in the coordination of multi-channel programmes that drives quality leads (MQLs), builds new sales pipeline, drives customer expansion, improves win rates and increases sales
- Developing and managing the email marketing calendar, email marketing strategies (messaging, automation & personalisation), landing pages through to analysing prospect/customer/member data, campaign KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve marketing and drive forward the CRM campaigns for sales recruitment, retention & promoting other ISME products
- Create multi-channel marketing campaigns leveraging SEO, Social, Inbound Marketing and Email to drive new member/customer acquisition and member retention
- Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts new audiences to our website and nurtures them to a qualified lead (by promoting relevant content; thought leadership, blogs, videos podcasts, webinars, infographics, etc.)
- Research target audiences, understanding the unique personas and their pain points, and determine the best channels, messaging, and positioning for the brand
- CRM management, updating & analysis
- Deliver Monthly reports that track key performance indicators and metrics on website visitors, email click-through rate, downloads, form submissions, keyword rankings, marketing leads, sales qualified leads, and conversion rates
- Deal with customer/member queries
- Manage website – content/queries
Candidate Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years+ experience in B2B marketing management.
- Marketing/ Business/ Digital Marketing/ Data 3rd Level Degree, or related field.
- Experience in running B2B multi-channel performance marketing & brand building campaigns (from CRM, SEO, Paid Marketing & Content Marketing, to PR & other traditional marketing channels)
- Knowledge of core systems required to do this job (GA, GTM, GoogleAds, G-Suite, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite, etc)
- Knowledge & experience in CRM, ZOHO One knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong graphic design skills with high knowledge of Adobe Suite – InDesign, Photoshop or other design packages would be an advantage
- Customer driven with the ability to deal and build relationships with individuals at all levels of the business
- Attention to detail and data driven – proof reading to ensure accuracy of information, and comfortable using and working with data
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal (fluent English speaker)
- Strong writing & reporting skills
- Creative thinker with ability to identify and implement improvements
- Efficient and clear organisation and prioritisation of workload and to work to deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work with others both in the dept and across the business
- Good working knowledge of GDPR.
