Tendering Masterclass for SMEs
The aim of the course is to provide participants with a thorough knowledge and understanding of how they can source and bid effectively for tenders.
Topic 1: Navigating the public sector market place
We step through the various data sources and options for accessing public opportunities. We focus on e-tenders and its EU sister sites to make sure businesses understand how they can find useful information that can help them understand where opportunities lie for their business and what they need to do to start targeting the right opportunities.
Topic 2: Building winning propositions
We focus on approaches to developing winning propositions and examine the opportunities presented through sales strategies, strategic partnerships and knowledge on what can and cannot be done before, during and after the procurement cycle runs its course.
Topic 3: Stronger bids
We focus on strategies, tools and tactics to develop strong bids for the public sector. We step through the key requirements for typical submissions and will provide working materials for attendees to use during this working session.
There is no requirement to bring a laptop but those that do, can do / review some areas in real time and bookmark pages etc. as they are covered.
There will be practical case studies and working examples used during the day and it operates in a collaborative, open format manner. All questions raised that can be dealt with in this format are dealt with in the course of the course delivery.
Business owners, senior sales and business development personnel or bid management staff. The course has a strong strategic focus on where to aim a business’ activities so this is often best appreciated by people with discretion to make decisions.
