This will be a crucial part of the programme as participants need guidance and some time to think and overcome potential pitfalls or obstacles in implementing change within their SME’s.

We have a number of executive coaches and mentors from different industries that we can bring on board, who will help each owner manager, implement their best practice learnings to their day-to-day management of their SME.

This may take the form of coaching or mentoring or a personal development plan. Participants will be able to decide how they wish to use this session as they feel would best benefit both them and their organisations. They can decide this during the programme as it will become clearer where they need addition as support as they progress through the programme.

This coaching session can take place onsite at the participants SME business if required.

Methodology

There will be a mixture of assessments, case studies and group work. It is envisaged that these assessments would link directly to the participants business.

DBS prides itself on the results of our programmes, not just for students, but also for organisations. The practicality and implementation of learnings form a vital component of the success of our programmes. DBS incorporate open discussions, reflections and debates, which stimulate conversations, which in turn creates ideas and thoughts that would not have come to surface otherwise. DBS believe that taking a step back from the everyday running of a business and allowing some time to think, can be more productive and create added value for companies, as it allows students to reflect on the business and plan for the future and be more strategic.

All course materials will be provided online through the DBS Moodle platform.
